RYBSA Registration Begins

Richfield Youth Baseball and Softball Association will provide a safe and healthy environment for all of our members.  The focus is to encourage participation and to provide the best possible overall T-Ball, Coach Pitch, Baseball and Softball experience for our area youth. RYBSA is a true developmental zone for players to learn and compete on and beyond the diamonds.  We strive to provide quality instruction in the development of baseball/softball skills, sportsmanship, competitiveness and fair play. One example is our promotion of ELM:

  • Effort - Promotes effort and determination
  • Learning - Encouraging growth & improvement
  • Mistakes - They are okay and we all make them. Bouncing back from mistakes is pivotal in youth development.

Richfield Youth Baseball and Softball Association is committed to enriching the lives of our youth and fostering the love of the game.

Our recreation athletes that register to play in Boys and Girls Rookies, Single A, Double A, Triple A, Girls Juniors and Majors play in a competitive league comprised of area teams (Hartford, Jackson and Slinger). They play between 10 to 15 games per year, based on weather, and will have an end of the year special event/tournament.

Richfield Rage/Lady Rage is part of the RYBSA  organization and it is comprised of more competitive travel teams. These players try-out for their respective team at the end of the summer and play in a state league, WYSBL or Majors, and play in a 2 to 3 tournaments a year.  In 2020 we will have the following boys teams; U8, U9, U11 Navy, U11 Red, U12 Navy, U12 Red, U13, U14, U16 and U17.  We also have the following girls fastpitch teams; U10, U12, U14 and U16/17.

Richfield Youth Baseball & Softball Association has a long history (30+ years) of offering families and youth the opportunity to gather weekly and play America's pastime. Youth sports has evolved over that time and RYBSA has responded to those needs.

The Richfield RAGE Baseball & Softball teams plays in the competitive state leagues, as well as multiple tournaments throughout the season. RAGE differs from most programs as we stress a healthy and balanced approach towards youth sports. Research shows young athletes should play multiple sports, not specializing prior to High School and have family-time to avoid burnout and overuse injuries.

Maximizing player development and building a consistent experience across the program is the goal. RAGE will offer coaches training and players will have the opportunity to attend camps and lessons to maximize their progress. Players want to get better, have fun and compete for victories. Those are our priorities.
